The Artists Connect Nigeria was a success! The event was initiated and organized by Ken Nwadiogbu (Kenart) and Foladavid. Sponsored by Frot Group, and attended by Mr Frank Momoh (The President, Frot Group).
Ken Nwadiogbu and Foladavid came up with the idea of gathering all Nigerian artists in one spot for them to finally know themselves and network. Three Days after this idea came up, with the relentless show of leadership and organization by the founders, the event held. The venue was Leisure Lake in Lekki Lagos and the event started by 1pm prompt.
It was an awesome event; one of its kind. It was so extreme, celebrities like Solid Star, Dj spinall, Toby Grey, Dj jimmy jatt, Selebobo, Viktor, Tobbinator, and other entities of cadillac cadre graced it.
The Venue was packed in no time as artists from all over Nigeria trooped there for the event. Artists who were hungry for the opportunity to meet and connect, enthusiasts who were ready to see the gods of their creation, and celebrities who were astonished by the innovation of the event.
The strategy was to engineer social connectivity and build motivation, by bringing together a mix of personalities, artists and artistes, and art enthusiasts; while bringing recognition to these visual artists and artworks. In his speech, Mr Frank Momoh (The President, Frot Group) revealed that it is the goal of ArtistsConnectNG to provide a platform, eventually, for ambitious and aspiring artists to showcase talent and technique; while subsidising prices of materials, in order to develop and promote quality and ingenuity in the new-generation Artist guild in Nigeria.

The event was attended by visual artists like Arinze, Ayo Filade, Isimi Taiwo, Raji Bamidele, Alex Peter, Ken Nwadiogbu, Foladavid, Olumide Oresegun, Oscar Ukonu, Ayeola Ayodeji, and a host of others. Proudly supported by media campaign partners Pulse TV, 54Artistry, ShortSharp_Shot, Viral Splash, Olodo Nation and many others.
